What sets a Maryland bridge apart from a regular bridge is that in this procedure, your dentist won’t remove the enamel of the adjacent teeth. The Maryland bridge is equipped with two metal “wings” on the back that attach to the adjacent teeth. These metal wings are not visible when you smile and they make the bridge durable, giving you a beautiful, full smile!

What to Expect
The procedure is easy, quick and painless! First, your dentist will scrape the back of your teeth lightly to prepare it for bonding. Your dentist will then apply bonding resin to the back of your two adjacent teeth, following by fitting the replacement tooth in the gap. Our dentist will position the bridge’s wings over the backside of the adjacent teeth to secure the bridge in place.
