Dental Braces

Sustain a happy, healthy smile.

What to Expect

Before getting your braces, your orthodontist will examine your teeth and may recommend treatment for any cavities or other decay before getting your braces.

Once you’re ready for your braces, your orthodontist will take an X-ray, photographs and an impression of your teeth to create the mold for your braces. Next, you’ll have a separate appointment during which your braces will be inserted.

After your braces are on, your dentist will schedule a follow-up about 4-8 weeks after your initial appointment, and will schedule regular follow-ups in order to adjust your braces for a perfect smile and a perfect bite!
