Complete Overdentures

If you or someone you love is missing a lot of their teeth, overdentures are a great way to make them feel like they have a full set of teeth in a very natural way.

Overdentures are removal sets of teeth that fit in your mouth naturally, and are usually supported by your remaining natural teeth or by dental implants.

Unlike regular dentures, overdentures exercise the jaw to prevent the “sunk-in” look in the lower part of the face that results from using regular dentures.

What to Expect

To get your overdentures, your dentist will assess your mouth and determine how many dental implants are needed to place your overdenture. Then, you’ll have a procedure to place the implant posts under anesthesia, and you’ll be given temporary teeth as your gums heal with the implant posts in place.

Once your gums have healed, the temporary teeth are removed and your dentist will take an impression of your mouth to design an overdenture that fits your mouth perfectly.
