Chemical Peel

A chemical peel is a cosmetic treatment that involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes the top layers of the skin to peel off, revealing smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin underneath.

Why a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, and uneven skin tone or texture. They are typically classified as superficial, medium, or deep, depending on the depth of the peel and the strength of the chemical solution used.

  • Superficial peels, also known as lunchtime peels, are the mildest type of chemical peel and are typically used to treat mild skin discoloration, rough texture, and fine lines.
  • Medium peels are more intense and are used to treat deeper wrinkles, acne scars, and sun damage.
  • Deep peels are the most intense and are used to treat severe wrinkles, deep scars, and significant sun damage.
