Picosure PRO is an advanced laser technology primarily used to unwanted pigment, wrinkles, acne scars, pores and tattoos with a much higher success rate compared to traditional lasers. It's an enhanced version of the PicoSure laser system, designed to provide faster and more effective results compared to traditional laser treatments.

How does PicoSure Pro laser treatment work?

The Picosure PRO utilizes picosecond laser technology, which emits short pulses of energy in picoseconds (trillionths of a second). These ultra-short pulses target the pigment in the skin with greater precision, breaking it down into smaller particles that the body can naturally eliminate. This makes it particularly effective for removing tattoos and addressing skin concerns like pigmentation irregularities, acne scars, wrinkles, and sun damage.


Compared to older laser systems, Picosure PRO's shorter pulses are believed to minimize damage to the surrounding skin tissue, reducing discomfort and downtime for patients. It may require fewer treatment sessions than traditional lasers for tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.

What to Expect

Before Treatment

Avoid any forms of tanning for 2 weeks, including tanning beds, self-tanner, sun exposure etc.
Avoid Topical peeling agents such as Vitamin A derivatives (retinol or Alpha Hydroxy Acid) 1 week before treatment
Avoid any procedure that can danger the skin integrity such as microblading, chemical peel for 2 weeks

During Treatment

The treatment area will be cleansed thoroughly to remove any makeup, oils, or residues from the skin.
Protective eyewear will be provided to shield your eyes from the laser light.
If necessary, the treatment area may be marked or outlined to guide the application of the laser
You may experience a sensation of heat or mild discomfort during the procedure
Cooling devices or air may be used to minimize discomfort and keep the skin surface cool during the procedure

After Treatment

Avoid sun exposure
Use gentle skincare products
Continue gentle cleansing and moisturizing over the next few days
Keep the treated area clean and protected
